Supermarket is one of the places that urges women to spend a lot of money. Even if you choose only a few things to save for the whole week, you will easily spend a lot of money for it. However, there are many simple ways to save time and money when shopping at the supermarket you need to know and bear in mind.

1. Avoid shopping on Sunday afternoon

Sunday is one of the busiest supermarket moments. People often choose supermarkets as a final destination after spending the whole Sunday in church, play ground or visiting friends and relatives. Therefore, you should avoid arriving at the supermarket at this time to avoid losing time and struggling with lots of other customers.

Basically you are not restricted go to the supermarket at any time. However, the most ideal time is usually in the early morning, late evening and on the days during the week.

2. Make a list-to-buy

Most of people are confident that they remember all the things they need to buy. But the reality is not always true, especially when you shop in a limited time and the supermarket is very crowded at that time. So what’s the solution to this? Before you leave the house, check your cupboard and make sure you have all the basic things like olive oil, pasta and the necessary spices left? Then make a list of things to buy to make sure you don’t forget anything.

Tip: If you organize your list by product type, you’ll easily choose to buy and save lots of time going around searching.

3. Don’t shop when you’re hungry

Hungry stomachs make you lose your concentration when shopping. But above all it makes you shop too much. Scientific research has proven that buying food on an empty stomach makes you purchase more. You can buy items that you don’t need just to satisfy your eyes. Instead, let’s shop when you are full or prepare some snacks to bring with you while shopping.

4. Pick those foods like meat and dairy products eventually

When you estimate you will wander for a long time in the supermarket, consider taking the products you need to store in the cool / cool environment such as meat or milk afterwards. Simply, because those products can be damaged if it was left too long in an environment that has not been cooled for too long.

5. Do not believe in products that are labeled “Discount”

Sometimes, eye-catching “Discount” products are usually not as cheap as you think. An item that is being sold off doesn’t mean it’s the cheapest option. Take a moment to look around the shelf and compare those prices. If you are a bit more observant, you may find much cheaper products to buy.
